Rose lovers will delight in visiting the world famous David Austin rose garden. Home to the famous New English roses, this garden is sure to appeal to gardeners as well as rose enthusiasts. Beautiful rose themed gifts are abundant in the well stocked gift shop.


Door-to-door transportation to the fragrant Gardens of the Rose enables you to fully relax and appreciate this soothing experience. Also known as The Royal National Rose Society Gardens, here you will discover model gardens for growing roses in small spaces.


Relax during a wonderful day in the iconic Cotswolds. Visit the world renowned Kiftsgate Court Garden which you will remember due to it's soft and feminine design. A perfect setting for the delicate rose.


Walk across the road to the outstanding Hidcote Manor Garden. Designed in the Arts and Craft style, it is a floral treat which reveals delightful gardening surprises as you navigate it. It is one of England's most influential gardens and is ripe with ideas if you are a keen gardener.


Individual or small group visits to pretty private gardens allow you to enter interesting gardens, which large tour groups do not get access to. The privacy of these visits enables you to take fantastic photographs.

* The Gardens of the Rose are open from 10th June to 6th August 2017. Therefore Regent's Park Rose Garden will be visited in it's place.

7 Day Example Schedule:

Day 1: Arrival at your homestay destination (p.m.)

Day 2: David Austin Rose Garden (a.m.)
Visit these famous gardens that are a feast for the senses. There are over 700 different varieties of roses and the National Collection of English roses. The Renaissance Garden is devoted to beautiful English roses, flowering from later May through to the first frosts. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the cheerful tea room before viewing the pretty Victorian Walled Garden planted with English roses and other repeat flowering shrub roses.

Day 3: Relaxation Time (a.m.)
Relax in the peaceful garden, home, village or surrounding countryside.

Rose Afternoon Tea (p.m.)
Learn how to make a traditional afternoon tea and enjoy it with your hosts. Enjoy the special touches of rose flavour included in this delicious experience.

Day 4: *The Gardens of the Rose (All day)
A visit here is a rose lover’s dream due to the extensive rose collection on show, which includes old garden roses and the best of modern roses. Marvel at the 72 arch pergola, each pillar supporting a climbing/rambling rose with companion planting of other climbers such as clematis and honeysuckle.

Day 5: Relaxation Time (a.m.)
Relax in the peaceful garden, home, village or surrounding countryside.

Private Garden Visit (p.m.)
Visit a lovely local Private garden and chat to the owner over a welcoming cup of tea about their gardening experiences.

Day 6: Hidcote Manor Garden (a.m.)
Enjoy time in this famous Cotswolds setting. This horticultural masterpiece was created from a bare field and is cleverly divided into garden rooms and corridors which lead your eye to the next beautiful floral display.

Kiftsgate Court Garden (p.m.)
This gentile garden has been developed for almost a century by three women. When in full bloom the Kiftsgate rose is breathtaking. Whichever roses you view you are guaranteed rosy memories of Kiftsgate Court from this homestay.
